…Who is Ianus Christius, you may wonder?
A real person, an imaginary character from some old dark movie, a lost soul existing at the border of this world of matter and the Other Side of the so called Afterlife…
A short interview has been made between the fictional journalist, Kristijan Nikola Kuš, and this persona non grata, his alter ego, Ianus Christius, about the life, adventures and ideas of this half-existing dark character.
KNK: What is your name?
IC: Ianus Christius.
KNK: Where are you from and where do you currently live?
IC: I was born in Zagreb, capital of Croatia. At the moment, I live and work in Upper Bavaria (orig. Oberbayern), Germany.
KNK: What do you like to do, at leisure (as a hobby) or as a job?
IC: I’m writing and publishing texts on blogs mostly concerning ideas of creativity combined with knowledge and high intelligence (my holistic approach to unite the best of science, art and spirituality to work on the main goal of discovering the meaning of life, in the everlasting struggle against the big cancer of the modern society, the human stupidity); I love hiking and spending time in wild nature, walking adventurism (I walked all over Croatia, half of Slovenia and parts of Austria and Bavaria), amateur photography (mostly scenic), creating new projects and in overall, thinking to much 😉 …
KNK: Since when do you work with this creative hobby / business?
IC: I’ve been writing blogs for about eight years now (first blog was named Anarchy4all), I went on walking adventures in 2012./2013./2016., and I like to make photographs whenever and wherever I have the chance for almost five years.
KNK: What would you tell your fans about your current and future works?
IC: “Expect the unexpected”… one thing is always sure for me, and it’s never to know what will my (pre)lustful imagination create next and on what way will that take me next. Will it be writing and publishing a new (e-)book, a new walking adventure, a new tour trip or a new creative project…
KNK: Do you have any useful advice for inexperienced beginners in the activities you are engaged in?
IC: Never abandon your plans, and always follow your heart and mind, no matter what others tell you, because “This life that belongs to you is all that you have in the world of this …” (verse from the song “The World in Which I Live” from the Bosnian music band Indexi).
KNK: Do you have something more to add?
IC: “We, humans, are mortals, and as such we are just passers-by on this little planet we call Earth. But what is immortal is our soul and our work that will remain behind us even when our material bodies are converted in powder and ash. ” (from my first published Croatian e-book “Riječ djelo krasi”)
KNK: If someone wants to contact you about some advice, questions about your work, where can they get your works (if they are available for sale), …,where can they find you?
