(continued from What Is Wisdom?)

… The truth is everywhere around us, you only need to know how to recognise it …

… The preservation of the free will of every individual is the greatest law of the universe. To preserve it, we need to penetrate into the depths of our soul and find answers to all of our questions …

… Every work has to be appreciated. If not because of its quality, then because of the effort of its creator …

…To understand other people, it is necessary not only to speak to them, but also to listen to them. That is one of the greatest laws of wisdom, ability to listen. Everybody can talk and give his/her opinion on some subjects, but rare are those who are capable and ready to listen what others have to say.

How can you become wise if you listen only yourselves, and the opinions, advices and critics of the others you simply throw away. Only by listening and understanding of other human being, you will find out something about him/her, of all of his/her virtues and flaws. When you speak to someone, try to imagine that you are in the position of others, and you will soon figure out that it’s not descent nor intelligent always to interrupt speech or thoughts of the one who speaks to you, ’cause that leads to communication breakdown and total misunderstanding, and finally to a possible verbal or physical conflict. Respect the free will of the others and their right to think, speak and work. Only then you will get respect of the others, and as a result of that, many will consider you as a wise and intelligent person.

… The nature can not be own, it has to be understood. We are not just its little part, we are its most important link. As one does not become one with nature, he will never find true happiness and pleasure …

…Except of understanding and respecting other human beings, we have to learn to respect other living beings, as well as the nature in general. Even do we can not speak to the animals, plants and other “dead” nature as we do with other people, we can still treat them with respect.

Remember, according to all natural sciences, as well as by all religions, human specie has arrived on this small planet on the last “train”. All the other beings and nature in general existed for millions of years before us. We are not masters of the nature, only its humble servants. All those who disagree with this claim, can remember all the natural disasters that are happening every day and all around the world, as well for all the Earth’s history. All the droughts and floods, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and hurricanes are just a small indications of the destructive power of our beloved nature. With all the respect to all the scientists and technologists, I myself have opinion that humans will never overpower or fully understand this natural phenomena. Some things are made to remain eternal secrets, ’cause that is the way it has to be. Human mind is very limited and to slow to reach the ultimate discovery of that mysteries, at least not in this time.

Also, all of those people that think that our machines “think” and work much faster then we are, and that these machines will discover the “big secret” are greatly in a big misapprehension. Machines were created by us, humans, and due to the fact that we humans are so imperfect, with that follows that all our machines are even more imperfect then we are. Because every creature is less perfect then its creator. Machines are less perfect then humans, and humans are less perfect then God, Higher Force or Universe in general, whatever you wanna call it. Creature can not surpass its creator, no matter how much it tried.

… All those who acquire knowledge can be considered intellectuals. All those who have acquired knowledge by using their logic and understanding can be called intelligent intellectuals. But only those capable of applying all acquired knowledge to life in a clever and useful way, those who know when and how to act at a particular moment, we can call them wise …

… With the unity of intelligence and discipline we are able not to repeat our own mistakes. By unifying wisdom and discipline, we are able not to repeat mistakes of others. It is easier for a man to learn on his own mistakes than on those of the others, because we are born with intelligence, and wisdom we achieve by learning through experience …

… If you possess a high level of intelligence, discipline, and wisdom you can be considered a very happy man. Intelligence will enable you to understand yourselves as well as the world around you. Discipline will teach you self-control, and wisdom to a better and more complete view of the world you live in, at a higher level of perception …

… In the last three sayings from above, you could get some general ideas how wisdom is acquired through different human virtues, like knowledge, intelligence and discipline. Rare are those people that can acquire wisdom only through meditation and living the life of a ascetic. For all the others, some predispositions and a lot of work and effort are required. To walk on the paths of wisdom, you need the knowledge of the world that surrounds you. And to acquire that knowledge, there is only one possible way, through learning.

For example, you can visit libraries and read books, seek for the valuable informations through the Internet, watch and listen documentaries on the TV, Internet or in the cinemas, visit art places like museums, galleries, theatres, concert halls, visit public lectures in open or closed places. Learn and absorb all the knowledge that you consider relevant for your own life path. To make this knowledge more understandable, you need some predispositions, like a certain level of intelligence. Fortunately, the majority of humanity possesses a sufficiently high level of intelligence to understand this world in some logical and easier way. Those who are not capable of doing that, need help of others. This is why we call ourselves human society, so that we could help each other when we think that that is necessary. At the end, large dozes of discipline and self-control are required, that we could use all the acquired knowledge in the right and meaningful way. So, by joining knowledge, intelligence and discipline together, we come to the first steps which lead the way to ultimate spiritual enlightenment, and the wisdom is one of its most important links.

At the very end, I will write this two mystical sayings that are written in a form of songs. I hope you will understand them.

… There where I will go
Sun will shine forever.
Follow the path of light
and you shall live forever …

… Every tear you drop, will create a new life.
Every step you make, will launch a new apocalypse.
Every word you pronounce, will start a new avalanche of thoughts …
